Vetrotech Celebrates Saint-Gobain’s 350 Year Anniversary

In honor of its parent company’s 350 year anniversary, Vetrotech Saint-Gobain recently held an open house and led more than 40 people on tours of its glass factory in Auburn, Wash.

Vetrotech Saint-Gobain gave tours of its facility as part of an anniversary celebration.

Architects, glazing customers and other local Saint-Gobain plant employees participated in the event, which was held October 15. Attendees were also treated to a lunch, video viewings and commemorative gifts.

“This was a great local event and the first opportunity we’ve had to tour architects in our factory for our new AIA Continuing Education Course,” says Patricia Hernandez, Vetrotech’s northwest regional sales manager.

The tour was worth one learning unit for architects and is listed on AIA’s website as “Fire-Rated Glass and Framing: Types, Uses and Fabrication.”
