Swisspacer Fenestra Vision Symposium Held in Germany

The second Swisspacer Fenestra Vision symposium, which focused on developments in window and facade construction in Europe, was held in Potsdam, Germany, in September.

Attendees of the symposium included contractors, system suppliers, planners and experts in science.

Ulrich Sieberath, head of the ift Rosenheim Institute, moderated the expert panels, and Winfried Heusler, senior vice president of Schüco, gave the keynote speech.

Other speakers included Thomas Winterstetter, managing director of Werner Sobek Stuttgart; Andreas Bittis of Saint-Gobain Glass; Benjamin Krick of the Passivhaus Institute; and Martin Langen, managing director of B + L Market Data.

“At our symposium, we want to go from looking at the industry as a whole down to the smallest detail — from the global requirements placed on cities of the future, through the building envelopes required for this, all the way down to the details of window constructions,” said Andreas Geith, managing director of Swisspacer.
