Tubelite Names New Logistics Manager

Tubelite Inc. has hired Daniel Politowicz as logistic manager serving all of the company’s locations and personnel, including direct supervision of the company’s shipping assistants.

For more than 30 years, Politowicz has worked in logistics and distribution. Most recently, he was the operations and procurement manager at Palogix Supply Chain Services, a third-party logistics company based in Michigan. While with Palogix, he negotiated carrier contracts for more than 90 carriers and 800 loads per week across U.S. borders into Canada and Mexico, according to a release from Tubelite.

Prior to Palogix, Politowicz worked at Coca-Cola Refreshments and Menlo Worldwide Logistics.

Politowicz began his career with the U.S. Marine Corps as a logistic and embarkation specialist. His duties involved the planning, training and movement of troops and equipment for worldwide deployment by air land and sea. He served for eight years, participated in multiple deployments and achieved the rank of staff sargent.
