Bergmann Featured Speaker at BEC

The Glass Association of North America (GANA) announced Kai-Uwe Bergmann, partner at architectural firm BIG, will be the featured speaker at this year’s Building Envelope Contractors (BEC) Conference.

BECBEC will be held February 21-23, 2016, at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.

Bergmann leads BIG’s business development, which currently works in more than 20 different countries, and oversees the company’s communications. Registered as an architect in eight U.S. states and one Canadian province, he most recently contributed to the resiliency plan The Dryline to protect ten miles of Manhattan’s coastline.

He has undertaken teaching assignments at the University of Florida, the New School of Architecture in San Diego and his alma mater the University of Virginia. He also sits on the Board of the Van Alen Institute, participates on numerous international juries and lectures globally on the works of BIG.
