EFCO Corp., a Pella Company, recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for an expansion at its Monett, Mo., facility. The company added 22,000 square feet of space to house two new automated glass-cutting lines by Hegla.
“To continue to grow and respond to the strength of the commercial marketplace, we needed more automation,” says Cameron McGinley, president of EFCO Corp. “With the addition of more than 100 team members and our new vice president of sales, Doug Zacharias, the future is looking bright for both EFCO and Pella.”
Construction on the expansion began last fall. The addition was a multi-million dollar investment by the company, which says it is experiencing record levels of bookings and projects to fulfill.
Paragon Architecture and Branco Construction, both of Springfield, Mo., were the architect and contractor, respectively, for the addition.
