Safti First, a manufacturer of fire-rated glazing and framing systems, announced Hawaii Architectural Sales will be representing the company in Hawaii effective immediately.

“We see tremendous synergy with our current product lines,” says Eugene Rooney, principal at Hawaii Architectural Sales. “Our goal is to be a ‘one-stop-shop’ for architects seeking design assistance for glass, glazing and metal building envelope products in Hawaii. Representing Safti First also allows us to better serve our glazing customers.”
Rooney has been in the architectural glass and glazing industry since 2002 and founded Hawaii Architectural Sales in 2012. He also represents EFCO, Super Sky, Kalwall, Hope’s Windows, Doralco and American Warming and Ventilating.
“Safti First is extremely excited to get a sales rep of Eugene’s caliber and product offering. This is the first time, in a long time, that we have had someone living on the islands representing us,” says Tim Nass, vice president of national sales at Safti First. “It is important that we have a competent, active sales rep that is part of the community on a daily basis. Hawaii Architectural Sales will provide the service and education necessary to promote a technical product like fire-resistive glass and framing.”
