MyGlassTruck.com reached $50,034 in donations to the Central and South Jersey Affiliate of Susan G. Komen through its “‘Nice Rack’ Campaign to Fight Breast Cancer.” The company donates a set amount to the organization for every glass rack, glass truck and trailer sold.
The $50,000 threshold, enough to pay for 324 mammograms, was surpassed at GlassBuild America 2016 in Las Vegas, with sales made during the industry trade show and donations from attendees.
“The funding the Central and South Jersey Affiliate of Susan G. Komen receives from MyGlassTruck.com will be put-to-use providing breast health education and complimentary mammograms for any woman in need in our service area,” says Sally Sheperdson, executive director of the Central and South Jersey affiliate of Susan G. Komen. “Our goal is to foster increased access to screening, earlier diagnosis and decreased mortality rates due to breast cancer.”
“We would like to thank our customers for helping us to reach this milestone,” adds Rustin Cassway, president of MyGlassTruck.com. “MyGlassTruck.com is proud to raise funds for an organization whose goal is to reduce the current number of breast cancer deaths by 50 percent within the next decade.”
