Solar Innovations Inc., recently won four awards in the National Sunroom Association’s (NSA) 2016 NSA Design Awards. The 2016 Design Awards mark the twelfth anniversary of the competition. Solar Innovations, Inc. won in the following categories:
- Existing or wood roof sunroom $20,000 – $35,000 category for private home;
- Existing or wood roof sunroom $35,000 – $50,000 category for private home;
- Glazed roof sunroom under $20,000 category for private home, and;
- Glazed roof sunroom $20,000 – $35,000 category for private home.
Solar Innovations was also a finalist in the following categories:
- Existing or wood roof sunroom above $50,000 category for private home;
- Glazed roof sunroom under $20,000 category for private home, and;
- Glazed roof sunroom above $50,000 category for private home.
The NSA Design Awards recognize excellence in the design and installation of sunrooms, solariums and patio rooms. Almost 50 entries of sunrooms, solariums, and patio rooms constructed in 2015 were submitted for this competition. All entries were judged on the basis of 1) aesthetic appeal, 2) how well the sunroom, patio room or solarium enhances the architecture and natural surroundings of the home or commercial setting, and 3) its interior appeal and functionality.
