John Heinaman Joins DFI Board of Advisors

Diamon-Fusion International Inc. (DFI) announced that John Heinaman has joined its board of advisors as a consultant. According to the announcement, Heinaman’s 55 years of commercial glazing experience fits perfectly with DFI’s focus on driving demand for its low-maintenance-plus coating in the building façade market.

“The building façade is the next big market for our Diamon-Fusion coating. Applications such as the Old Tiffany Building, Nike’s headquarters, Altreca Tower and dozens of others are proof of both the need for and benefit of Diamon-Fusion on exterior glass,” said Russell Slaybaugh, COO at DFI. “John’s experience and insight will help us understand and communicate more effectively with that market and his general business acumen will make our entire DFI team more effective.”

Heinaman has more than 55 years of experience in the glass industry, including 25 years with PPG Industries  in  sales  and  management  and  28  years  as president  and  CEO of Heinaman Contract Glazing. He previously served as the NGA chairman, and in 2010 earned the title “Glazing Man of the Year.”

Heinaman will be assisting DFI with new business development opportunities. When asked about the opportunity, Heinaman said, “These are exciting times in the glass and coating industries; I am thrilled to be working with DFI to help my glass industry colleagues improve their product and business.”
