Is the construction economy beginning to flatten out? What are the hottest segments for the glass and glazing industry? These are just a few of the questions glass research editor Nick St. Denis will answer during a Glass Industry Economic Update at Glass Expo Northeast™ (GENE) ’17.
St. Denis will also discuss what sort of growth the industry can anticipate from the commercial building sector, and how the New York metropolitan area—as well as the Eastern region of the U.S. as a whole—will fare.
The economic seminar will be held Thursday, March 30 from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. during GENE ’17. The two-day architectural glass and metal industry event will be held March 30-31 at the Hilton Long Island/Huntington Hotel in Huntington, N.Y.
St. Denis is the new research editor (formerly assistant editor) of USGlass magazine and is the editor of both Architects’ Guide to Glass & Metal and USGNN.com™. He graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh in 2010 with a degree in newspaper journalism and has held reporting positions with the Press-Republican in Plattsburgh, N.Y., and the Free Lance-Star in Fredericksburg, Va. He joined the USGlass editorial team in April 2014 and focuses on economic and industry research for the glass and glazing industry.
