View published an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for its dynamic glass, verified by UL Environment. The EPD certification, combined with View’s Health Product Declaration (HPD) and Declare label, provides architects, building owners, developers and other specifiers with independent, third-party verification of environmental performance benefits of its product.
“Today, leading designers are demanding disclosure about material toxins and environmental impacts as a keystone of good building design. View is actively answering that call via our third-party certifications and our ongoing commitment to a triple bottom line product,” says Brandon Tinianov, vice president of business development at View. “We are proud to offer a product that not only helps our customers meet their sustainability goals, but also assists in achieving their occupant health and wellness objectives.”
The EPD earns points in the LEED certification process for building projects, specifically the Materials and Resources category of LEED v4.
