Aldora Promotes Waylon McCall

Waylon McCall has been promoted to branch manager at Aldora Aluminum and Glass Products’ new location near Atlanta. He is currently plant manager for the company’s Miramar, Fla. location.

McCall will oversee facility upgrades, including equipment installation, hiring and training of all on-site personnel. Once it is up and running, he will be in charge of all day-to-day operations.

Over the past 20 years, he has worked his way from the plant floor to plant manager.

“We are pleased that Waylon accepted the Atlanta branch manager position,” says CEO Leon Silverstein. “When we acquired MirrorCrafters, Waylon transitioned all of the employees and ultimately relocated the entire operation to its present Miramar location. He is the perfect candidate to open this new location for Aldora.”

The 43,000-square-foot manufacturing facility will feature a 96-by-196 HHH full convection tempering furnace. The branch plans to hire employees in late August and September with an anticipated October 1 opening date.
