IGE Glass Technologies Inc., a single source provider of glass fabrication machinery, service and supplies, recently announced that industry veteran Martin Bracamonte has been named president of the company.
IGE’s founder and chief executive officer, Michael Spellman, will remain fully active in continuing to guide the company with his vision and strategic planning for continued future growth, which includes the addition of Barcamonte as an integral piece of IGE’s long-term succession planning.
“This is a major milestone for IGE. We’ve grown dramatically over the years and I’m determined to keep that trend going,” says Spellman. “We needed to shift the leadership duties to someone who could continue to build on what we’ve done over the past four decades in the glass industry, and help us take it to the next level. [Bracamonte] is absolutely the best person for this role with his experience, stellar reputation, and vast industry knowledge. IGE, its manufacturers, and its loyal customer base are in great hands.”
Bracamonte is a seasoned veteran of the glass industry and has held senior executive posts at Guardian Industries, NSG-Pilkington North America and NSG-Pilkington/Saint-Gobain South America.
“The machinery, services and supplies that IGE has provided creates more value for this industry, better products and faster financial returns,” says Bracamonte. “I’m planning on continuing that expectation while growing into innovation platforms like vacuum coaters, tempered VIG lines, digital printers, etc.”
