Salem Flat Glass & Mirror, a division of Salem Distributing Co., has teamed up with IGis, Folienwerk Wolfen and Ashton Industrial.
The U.S.-based vendor will now offer these companies’ insulating glass lines, ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) laminating film and seaming/pre-tempering equipment.
“As the state of our industry evolves, these partnerships offer strong support for our customers who require better quality products, greater safety, reduced time and costs in their fabrication process,” says Salem CEO Mike Willard. “Salem is always looking to streamline the overall fabrication process and manage the equipment lifecycle efficiently. All three of these companies will help us do just that.”
IGis has installed more than 300 insulating glass production lines worldwide. Folienwerk Wolfen produces EVA laminating film certified for impact, weathering and sound reduction, meeting all U.S. standards. Ashton Industrial is a specialized manufacturer of automated glass seaming and other processing machinery, and it is the world’s largest manufacturer of pre-tempering systems, according to a release from Salem.
