Kalamazoo, Mich.-based Azon recently hired Nathan Schafer and Don Wright.
Nathan Shafer
Schafer joined Azon as chief engineer for machinery design in the AZO/Tec engineering department at the company’s manufacturing headquarters. He is responsible for thermal barrier processing machinery product development, designing new technologies and automated systems.
Schafer has 12 years of industrial design experience with material handling and processing machinery.
Don Wright
As business development manager, Wright will oversee activities on the U.S. West Coast. He will assist window and curtainwall manufacturers, engineering firms, building envelope consultants and architects in the selection of products that meet thermal efficiency and structural performance requirements of current building codes and standards.
Wright has more than 20 years of experience in the commercial construction industry and has been involved with facade products as well as commercial and residential windows.
