McGrory Glass recently named Ron Gerhardt director of engineered products. Gerhardt joined the company in November 2014. He has nearly 40 years of experience in manufacturing, installation and architectural glass entrance design. In addition to his previous decade at Ridgeview Glass, Gerhardt has worked for Oldcastle Building Envelope and PPG Industries Inc., as project director and entrance systems manager, respectively.
Eric Johnson and Pat McCormick have also joined the McGrory team. They will assist Gerhardt in architectural sales and enhancing the evolution and growth of the company’s entrance systems department.
Johnson is an engineering graduate from Penn State University. His background includes three years of CNC programming and six months of glass industry experience.
McCormick joins with more than two years of direct experience in the glazing industry focusing on window wall, curtainwall, entrances, louvers and interior glazing. He previously worked as a project manager for a façade glazing contractor.
“[Gerhardt]’s extensive experience and knowledge in the glass industry speaks for itself, but with the welcomed additions of [Johnson] and [McCormick] to the McGrory team, our entrance systems department will have a unique skill set that will certainly bring an advantage not only to the department, but the company as a whole,” says Jim Gulnick, vice president of McGrory Glass.
