Key Media & Research Earns 11 ASBPE Nominations: 4 for USGlass Magazine

USGlass magazine was named a finalist for four American Society of Business Publication Editors’ (ASBPE) awards on Thursday, showcasing the staff’s work in print, video and design.

The magazine’s accolades include four regional finalist awards:

  • Best special section in the less than $3 million revenue category – “Trying to Reason with Hurricane Season” by editor Ellen Rogers, contributing editor Trey Barrineau, assistant editor Jordan Scott, research editor Nick St. Denis and editorial director Tara Taffera in the October 2017 issue.
  • Best news video – “October Newscast: Behind the Scenes of 2112 Penn” by editor Ellen Rogers, video producer Chris Bunn and assistant editor Jordan Scott.
  • Best technical article – “Moves that Matter” by editor Ellen Rogers in the March 2017 issue.
  • Best infographics – “USGlass Infographics” by art director Saundra Hutchinson.

Three other publications put out by Key Media & Research (KMR), the parent company of USGlass magazine, are also up for regional ASBPE awards.

Door and Window Market magazine has four nominations, including two national nominations, AGRR magazine has one regional nod and Window Film magazine has two regional nominations.

“These nominations are a wonderful testament to the talent and hard work of our staff,” said KMR president Debra Levy. “They work very hard to deliver professional products of the highest quality to all the glass-related industries that we serve and it’s heartening to see their work recognized.”

The national ASBPE Award winners will be revealed in May during a banquet at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.
