Sika Announces Participation at Glass TEXpo ’18

Sika Corporation, a supplier of glass bonding solutions, has announced its participation as an exhibitor at Glass TEXpo ’18, May 10-11 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, in San Antonio.

Sika will showcase its full line of silicone and polyurethane adhesives for glass glazing and sealing at this year’s show. These products are ideal for facades, windows, doors and small flat glass applications – both commercial and residential.

One product of note from Sika’s offerings is SikaGlaze GG-735 for embedding glass walls and balustrades. This solvent-free, self-leveling, two-part polyurethane grout is easy to mix and cures at room temperature, delivering high strength for fixation of large panels, according to the company.

Additionally, Sika’s Vertical Glass Business Unit will feature its full line of Sikasil engineered structural silicone solutions for manufacturing, field construction and installation of commercial glass facades. Sika will also exhibit high-performance residential hurricane-rated impact and general window back bedding glazing products. The company will also feature its full line of installation sealants and adhesives.

“We are very excited about the expansion of our vertical glass product range and engineering services for the facades, fenestration and insulating glass industry – as well as our flat glass business,” says John Babun, national manager for Sika’s Vertical Glass Business Unit.

“Our comprehensive range of engineered structural and general purpose silicone products – along with our already-recognized residential window glazing and installation product line – strengthens Sika’s global leadership in glass sealing and bonding.”

Sika Corporation will be exhibiting at booth #205 at Glass TEXpo.
