Roto Fasco Canada recently installed a new Frech die-cast machine at its Mississauga, Ontario, plant.
The addition enables Roto North America to further expand its manufacturing of door and window hardware by increasing automation and producing at optimal capacity.
“Acquiring a new, automated die-cast machine is another great advancement for Roto,” said Adrian Steenson, Roto Fasco Canada’s director of operations. “We continuously strive to improve our productivity and quality of our hardware.”
The company says the addition of the machine has increased productivity by 20 percent by producing more parts with fewer rejects. It also requires minimal maintenance and has sensors for mold protection.
