DeGorter Inc. Announces Partnership with Macotec

DeGorter Inc. has recently announced a new partnership with Macotec, an Italian supplier of glass cutting and handling systems. The new alliance will expand Macotec’s market to the U.S., and will allow DeGorter to include a new range of products.

DeGorter Inc. is a facilitator of glass processing equipment, service and supplies. The company has been providing glass processing products to the domestic glass market since 1969 and has been in operation since 1922, originally importing glass to the U.S. from Europe.

Macotec, based in Rogolo, Italy, has been a supplier since 1997. The company offers solutions for monolithic and laminated glass with internet of things capabilities, cutting optimization, label printing, and remote connection capabilities.

“Macotec is a perfect fit to our portfolio, which focuses on the highest quality and technically advanced products at the best possible value.  We are extremely excited at the value this strategic partnership brings and feel this is another step toward our vision; to be the most comprehensive flat glass agent in the United States and develop a fulfilled network of customers while building mutual loyalty and respect,” says Pete deGorter vice president.

“Macotec, is thrilled to announce the start of a new partnership [in the] U.S. market, with DeGorter Inc. This new collaboration will allow Macotec to extend its sales net in [the] USA and will allow DeGorter to include new products in its range,” reads a Macotec announcement.
