Glass Expo Northeast™ ’19 Seminar Spotlight: Trends in the Glass and Glazing Industry

Glass Expo Northeast™ ’19 is a two-day event dedicated to the needs of the architectural glass and metal industry. The big event will take place next week, March 27-28 at the Long Island Marriott in Uniondale, N.Y., and offers a line-up of educational seminars that is not to be missed.

“Trends in the Glass and Glazing Industry” is presented by Richard Voreis, CEO of Consulting Collaborative. This seminar will take place Thursday, March 28 from 8:30 – 10 a.m. Topics to be discussed include: special emphasis on exterior building envelopes and interior spaces; trends in architecture (glass, architectural aluminum products, etc.); trends in new and remodel construction; major industry challenges; and the importance of change.

Richard Voreis is the chief executive officer of Consulting Collaborative, a management consulting firm specializing in the construction and building products industry with its main office in Dallas, along with several regional offices throughout the U.S. and Europe. Clients include architects, general contractors, subcontractors, building product manufacturers and related suppliers to the industry as well as trade associations. The majority of Voreis’ corporate career was with Kawneer Company, with his most recent position being vice president at the corporate headquarters in Norcross, Ga., where he was responsible for all marketing- and sales-related functions as well as training, research and development and engineering. Voreis writes a weekly blog for the USGNN.com™ newsletter as well as articles for USGlass magazine.
