Fabricated Products Group Opens Headquarters in Greater Chicago Area

Fabricated Products Group (FPG), a custom fabricator and machine job shop, has opened a new headquarters in the greater Chicago area. FPG specializes in the design, engineering and manufacturing of architectural systems and components. FPG is a subsidiary of MHS Legacy Group, a diversified national holding corporation carrying a broad spectrum of commercial and industrial companies with roots dating back to 1895.

“After testing the market and confirming the large demand for quality, custom fabrication with short turnaround times, it was clear that an opportunity for controlled, calculated growth existed in the metal fabrication sector,” says Daniel Shields, president of Fabricated Products Group.

The company’s leadership team allows FPG to compete and succeed in the competitive marketplace, while also providing the expertise needed to grow, according to the company. Shields brings 20 years of experience and leadership within the world of metal products and fabrication. Russell Enzenbacher, senior manufacturing engineer at FPG with 25 years of experience, will lead the day-to-day manufacturing process. With ten years in the industry, Mark Worrell, senior project manager at FPG, will be responsible for client relations and management of projects.

“With some of the nation’s largest subcontractors, general contractors and architects in close proximity, this new location delivers a logistic benefit for our customers, providing easy access to major expressways, rail and airports,” says Shields.
