Officials for Tremco announced that the company has “joined forces” with Nudura, Dryvit and Willseal to form Tremco Construction Products Group. The move blends the company’s brands and divisions into a single entity, including commercial sealants and waterproofing, roofing and building maintenance, and Tremco Barrier Solutions, together with Dryvit Systems Inc., Nudura Inc., Willseal, Weatherproofing Technologies Inc. and Weatherproofing Technologies Canada.
“Beginning now and continuing over the coming months, customers should expect to see the new brand identity on all customer-facing materials,” says Doug Rende, senior vice president, marketing and technical.
Officials suggest that the move will make it easier for design/construction teams to develop, engineer and build more energy efficient, sustainable building enclosures.
“This means project teams can turn to a single source for the entire building enclosure, whether residential or commercial—including Tremco’s sealing systems for windows and doors,” says content marketing manager, Anne Manno.
It also provides building owners a single source for warranties, explains Tremco CPG president, Paul Hoogenboom.
“In the unlikely event of a problem, the owner or manager of a Tremco CPG building enclosure needs only one call or email to get the issue addressed, with no finger-pointing about the culprit,” he says.
While the change applies to products for insulating glass and windows, including TremGlaze, EnerSEAL and EnerEDGE, officials say it does not affect those product names and brands going forward. All customers will continue to work with their local sales representatives as they have in the past.
