Shanghai Prepares for China Glass 2018

The 29th China Glass exhibition will take place April 19-22, 2018 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in Shanghai. According to show organizers, China Glass is the largest glass trade fair in Asia and covers a range of sectors including products and applications; manufacturing technology and equipment; processing machinery; and raw materials and refractories.

The show will span 80,000 square meters in seven halls, where more than 800 companies will exhibit, including 585 domestic and 240 international companies. More than 40,000 people from the global glass industry are also expected to attend. According to show organizers, a number of the international exhibitors have increased their booth sizes, with more than 100 in spaces that exceed 100 square meters. North Glass is the largest domes-tic exhibitor in an 800-square-meter space, while Lisec is the largest international company with 775 square meters.

In addition to the exhibition, ten seminars are also scheduled to take place. These will cover a variety of topics such as energy-saving glazing technologies, vacuum glass production, and oxy-fuel furnaces with novel oxygen and natural gas preheating technologies.
