The Frameless Hardware Company (FHC) has appointed Armando Rodriguez to the position of vice president of manufacturing. Rodriguez brings more than 30 years of glass industry manufacturing and fabrication experience to the newly created role.
Most recently he served as senior vice president of manufacturing at C.R. Laurence. Prior to that, Rodriguez held leadership roles at Tajima Corp. and International Architectural Metal Works.
In his new role, Rodriguez will steward FHC’s entry into the manufactured products sector, managing staff and production on an expanded plant floor. FHC recently added to its manufacturing footprint to increase capacities in support of Rodriguez’s team and direction.
“Designing and manufacturing architectural systems was part of the long-term plan since day one,” says Chris Hanstad, president of FHC. “Armando’s addition to the FHC family has significantly expedited that process in the best way possible. Our investments in product research and development now have a swift and clear path to market. The industry has been demanding better product solutions and faster lead times, and we’re now positioned and equipped to deliver.”
