Leadership Changes Occur at Guardian Glass as President Exits Company

Ron Vaupel

Ron Vaupel, President and CEO of Guardian Industries, has assumed leadership of the company’s glass business in the wake of the departure of Kevin Baird, who had served as president and CEO of Guardian Glass since 2014.

In further C-level changes, Rick Zoulek and Guus Boekhoudt have each been named executive vice presidents for Guardian Glass. Zoulek oversees the company’s operations in North, Central and South America, while Boekhoudt will now add operations in India, the Middle East and Africa to his previous responsibilities in Europe and Asia. These changes are effective immediately.

“In this rapidly changing business environment, it is imperative that we understand the complex requirements of our customers and continue to provide the products and services that they value,” says Vaupel. “These leadership changes best position Guardian Glass to serve our customers. We wish Kevin well and thank him for his leadership.”

Baird joined Guardian in 2008 as CEO of SRG Global Inc., an automotive trim business. Tenneco announced in a statement that Baird has been appointed chief operating officer of the powertrain manufacturer, effective August 3, 2020.
