The Glass Guru Opens Two New Locations

The Glass Guru recently opened new franchise locations in Olathe, Kan., and John’s Creek, Ga. The Olathe location marks the second location for the company in the state of Kansas, both in the last 12 months.

Franchise owner Curtis Dockett of the Olathe location attended the week-long initial franchise training at The Glass Guru headquarters in Roseville, Calif., completing his training on July 24, 2020 in preparation for his grand opening on July 27. Franchise owner Stan Gilbreath of the John’s Creek location, along with his recently hired office coordinator, Courtney Lenharr, completed the training on July 10, 2020. The Glass Guru of Johns Creek is located in the northeastern portion of the greater Atlanta area.

Dockett comes to The Glass Guru with a diverse professional background, and is a veteran, having proudly served in the U.S. Army. He received an associate’s degree in network administration, and is a sales professional with experience in a number of industries, including freight brokerage/logistics and insurance.

“What ultimately led us to choose The Glass Guru as our new business was the realization that offering repair and restoration services for residential and commercial glass showed it could be a viable way to benefit our community as an alternative to potential high cost of replacement. We wanted to pursue the opportunity to be a part of a unique and growing franchise system that focuses on professionalism and also provides trendsetting glass services like foggy window repair,” says Dockett.

Gilbreath joins The Glass Guru after a career in the technology sector. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer sciences and a master’s degree in applied mathematics, both from Auburn University. He started his career as an application developer/programmer.
