Glaston Receives Order for Three IG Lines from Chinese Glass Manufacturer

Glaston Group has closed a deal for three insulating glass (IG) lines with CSG Holding Ltd. in China. The total order, valued at close to $3.06 million, is booked in Glaston’s Q4 2020 order book and includes IG manufacturing equipment from Glaston’s technology centers in Germany and China. The lines will be delivered and installed during the second quarter of 2021.

Glaston’s long-term customer CSG Holding is expanding its operations to a new factory with a focus on high-end architectural and energy-saving glass products. For production of the planned yearly capacity of 2.5 million square meters of IG and 3.5 million square meters of coated glass, the company chose to buy its IG equipment from Glaston China and Glaston Germany. For IG production, CSG ordered two Comfort lines and one Compact line as well as other equipment related to IG manufacturing.

“Our versatile product offering, technology and quality are the cornerstones for our long relationship with CSG Holding. Throughout the years we have installed several tempering and insulating glass lines at its factories, and are, of course, very happy to be part of their journey and success when they expand operations,” says Sasu Koivumäki, acting CEO and president of Glaston Corp.
