GPD Finland 2021 Issues Call for Papers

GPD Finland 2021, which is set for October 20-22 in Tampere, Finland, has issued a call for papers. The hybrid event will hold workshops from October 19-20 and conferences/networking from October 20-22.

The physical or live event part targets a maximum of 350 participants at the venue, out of which around 45 will be accepted to make oral presentations. A virtual event also will take place.
There are specific rules that must be taken into consideration before preparing any material to be presented at GPD conferences. These include:

• The material must not be a sales pitch;
• The presentation should not be brand focused; and
• Papers must be non-commercial, industrial or industrial-scientific. They should present a product type and its use in a technical manner that is intriguing to industry experts.

The speaker fee of EUR 1,200 + VAT 24% includes:

• One person’s (the speaker) admission to all conference sessions;
• One presentation in the conference (oral);
• Conference bag including proceedings material;
• Daily lunches and coffees;
• Transportation to conference and evening events (when needed); and
• Admission to networking activities (including conference dinner).
