Pennsylvania-based Vitro Architectural Glass (formerly PPG Glass) announced it promoted Paul Di Cesare as manager of architectural quality assurance. Di Cesare has held different positions for the company since his start in 1994. He has held responsibilities in other company plants, has fabricated products, served as manager and worked in sales and operations.
Di Cesare will oversee Vitro’s field service team and contacts in his new role while providing technical services and field support across commercial construction, residential window and specialty markets. He also will be the company stakeholder for Vitro across several glass industry and regulatory organizations.
Di Cesare has been with Vitro since 1994. Paul Bush, vice president, technical services and government affairs, Vitro Architectural Glass, says Di Cesare’s work in flat glass operations, quality, technical services and sales gives him a seasoned perspective that benefits Vitro customers. “Paul’s extensive experience and exceptional knowledge of our products and the practical and technical challenges our customers face every day make him a great fit for this role,” says Bush.
Before his new role, Di Cesare worked in Vitro’s technical services department. As a key accounts manager in the sales organization, he directed several major commercial construction accounts for Vitro Glass in the northeastern U.S.
Di Cesare holds a bachelor’s degree in ceramic engineering from Alfred University and received his Master of Business Administration degree from Ashland University. He is based near Allentown, Pa.
