GlasPro Mourns the Passing of its Founder, Stan Green

GlasPro Inc., announced the recent passing of its founder, Stanley (Stan) Raymond Green, who established the specialty glass business in 1988.

Prior to GlasPro, Green was the owner of Coast Glass Company in Hermosa Beach, Calif., in the 1960s and 1970s. According to the company, he used his engineering and mechanical mind, despite never having taken an engineering course in college to develop solutions to challenging production problems.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra; his five children, Laura Hanley (Dean), Erin LaMonte (Gary), Raymond Green (Judy), Joe Green (Stacey), and Ellen Crnkovich (Martin). He included Sandra’s daughters, Lori Hauersley and Erica Beichner (Chris) as part of his beloved large family. Green cherished his 13 grandchildren, Anna (Stephen), Mary (Sonny), Helen, Regina, Graham, Rachel (Travis), Max, Joe (Sydney), Peter, Sam (Abby), Maria (Riley), Katie and Tim, and his “bonus” grandchildren, Dylan, Gavin and Trey. Great-grandchildren Caleb, Hannah, Paisley, Brody, Chiara and Ivan added to his joy in the last years of his life.
