Manufacturer of custom aluminum windows and doors for the West Coast commercial and high-end residential construction market, All Weather Architectural Aluminum (All Weather) announced the North Bay Business Journal named it one of this year’s “Best Places to Work.” It’s the second consecutive year that the company has been nominated and received this recognition, highlighting workplace practices and recognizing organizations for their support and commitment to their employees.
The winners were based on the North Bay Business Journal anonymously surveying and analyzing survey responses relating to the employees’ experiences. In addition to evaluating employee trust and respect, this year’s survey looked into the company’s operations during COVID, understanding how business operations impacted the emotional and physical well-being of employees
“We have a great culture that offers mutual support, promotes trust, rewards employees’ efforts, and ensures that employees know their work is meaningful,” according to company president Bertram DiMauro. “Professional growth is a priority, and we ask employees what they are interested in doing and how they want to see their career unfold.”
Employees’ survey statements include, “It’s a family-owned, high-performance culture where employees care for each other and where management is respectful and knows your name…Everyone is a team player, knowing it takes all of us to get the job done.”
All Weather commits a portion of its profits to philanthropy. The CARES Committee sponsors a quarterly community charity event such as a food-packing event for Rise Against Hunger, backpack drives for students returning to school and hosting a Vitalant Blood Drive.
