Interiors Software Provider 2020 Announces Acquisition of FeneTech

2020, a provider of applications and enterprise solutions for interior design, space planning and furniture manufacturing, has announced its acquisition of FeneTech Inc., a software provider for glass fabrication companies and door and window manufacturers. According to 2020 this acquisition expands its end-to-end solutions into the fenestration market and it plans to offer extended solutions to new and existing customers for the design, construction and placement of doors and windows.

For more than 20 years FeneTech has developed software solutions to support the business processes in the door, window, and glass industry, enabling companies to schedule, optimize, execute and track their processes in detail and in real-time, from estimates and order entry to shipping and delivery.

Biesse Group to Acquire Forvet

Biesse Group signed a contract to acquire 100% of the quotes of Forvet Costruzione Macchine Speciali S.p.A., a manufacturer of special automated machines for glass fabrication. The deal has a value of approximately $47.3 million*, according to the announcement.

“This is a strategic acquisition that allows us to complete the range of glass machining centers with complementary industrial solutions that can be perfectly integrated with our technologies, thus offering technologically-advanced customers modular lines and automated systems that can guarantee high levels of productivity and flexibility,” says Roberto Selci, Biesse Group CEO.

According to the companies, the acquisition allows Biesse Group to increase its product portfolio of glass processing machines and offer automated, customized machines and systems.

“The result of the product offered will be increasingly advanced technology with modular lines and automated systems, capable of guaranteeing high productivity with the incredible flexibility typical of Forvet products,” says Davide Gariglio, Forvet CEO.

Compusoft Acquires Access Information Technologies

Compusoft Group, a visual CPQ provider, has acquired Access Information Technologies (Access IT), publishers of contractERP, an ERP solution for the fenestration industry.

According to the announcement, the acquisition strengthens Compusoft’s offerings by adding new capabilities to manage complex business, operational and manufacturing processes.

In addition to a broader product offering, the acquisition continues to expand Compusoft’s footprint in the North American market. It brings a presence in new adjacent industries, including architectural opening distribution, system integrators, and building material supply.
