Building envelope subcontractor Kovach Enclosure Systems announced Scott Bourdo has joined the company as president.
According to the company, Bourdo brings “a lifetime” of experience in the construction business to Kovach, especially with glass and metal panel enclosure systems. He started his career with Kovach working part time during college and became an owner in 2007. He briefly exited the company in 2017.
“After four years away from the construction industry, I’m excited to be back at Kovach where I began my career over 27 years ago. Kovach has an amazing team of building enclosure experts and together we will continue to exceed customer expectations through innovation, collaboration, and performance,” he said.
Regarding Bourdo’s return, Kelly Sands, Kovach owner/partner, said “We are extremely pleased that Scott decided to return to Kovach as the president. His leadership successfully guided the company for many years until his departure in 2017. Scott’s return provides leadership needed to carry Kovach confidently into the future. Scott is not only a great member of the Kovach team, but a respected community leader.”
