Giroux Glass Becomes Authorized DefenseLite, BulletShield Dealer

Giroux Glass has become an authorized dealer of DefenseLite® and BulletShield in California, Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico.

DefenseLite is a clear security glazing system that is installed over existing window and door glass. This creates a layer of protection designed with security and safety at the forefront. The technology of the DefenseLite over-glaze is 250 times stronger than glass, nearly invisible once installed and provides an affordable solution that works to reduce criminal attacks, according to the company.

BulletShield is an over-glaze solution that mounts onto existing windows or doorframes, which creates a protective layer that diminishes ballistic attacks through glass. The system is custom fabricated to meet the site’s unique threat level, its existing glazing conditions and the project’s budget. BulletShield systems are custom-fitted, utilizing plastics, polycarbonates or glass-clad shields to meet the performance requirements of a project.
