Person Crushed by Pallet of Commercial Glass in Florida

An individual was airlifted to the hospital in Palm Harbor, Fla., after being trapped under a pallet of commercial glass, according to the East Lake Fire Rescue.

The person was crushed by a pallet of commercial glass that weighed hundreds of pounds, a spokesperson for the department said.

East Lake Fire Rescue arrived on the scene and freed the person, who was airlifted to an area trauma center.

“Our thoughts are with the patient and their family,” the spokesperson said.

The department provided no additional information pertaining to how the person became crushed or the person’s current condition.
