Nominations are now open for the USGlass Magazine Annual Green Awards. The awards will once again recognize products, companies and people that not only demonstrate a commitment to designing and creating high-performance, sustainable architectural glass façades, but also exhibit efforts and actions that reduce carbon emissions and enhance environmental awareness, health and well-being.
Product selection criteria include how the product is manufactured/produced, focusing on minimizing negative environmental impacts and carbon emissions while conserving energy and natural resources, and enhancing sustainability through processes of transparency, verification, innovation and application.
Companies will be assessed on the commitments the organization has made toward improving their environmental performance along with their sustainability strategies for internal operations as well as their products and/or projects.
Individuals will be assessed on their involvement in green building practices and their advocacy of and contributions toward sustainable and resilient buildings and urban habitat.
Winners will be selected by the USGlass editorial team in consultation with energy, green and sustainable consultants and other non-biased parties and will be announced in the November 2022 USGlass magazine.
