PGT Innovations Awards More Than $1 Million in Tuition Reimbursement, Scholarships

PGT Innovations (PGTI) announced that it has contributed nearly $1.2 million in funding over the past four years for its tuition reimbursement program and its Inspire the Future scholarship program.

The tuition reimbursement program started in 2018 and is available to eligible PGTI team members. The amount reimbursed can be up to 100% of the cost of education depending on grades achieved.

The Inspire the Future scholarship program is offered to dependents of PGTI employees. The program provides $2,000 annually toward any secondary education pursuit. This includes technical schools, certification programs and university or community college until the education program is completed.

“Our folks are the reason behind why our organization is what it is today, and we’re proud to be able to support their educational advancement,” says PGTI president and CEO Jeff Jackson. “With students across the country heading back to school, we want this to serve as a reminder that it’s never too late for someone to further their education. We hope the financial assistance offered through our various programs encourages our team members who have been considering going back to school to take that next step and see what new opportunities open up for them with PGT Innovations.”

PGTI says that 83 team members have used the tuition reimbursement program since 2018. During that time, team members have earned degrees in business, accounting, engineering, computer science, human resources, business administration and marketing. Roughly $800,000 has been contributed from PGTI to assist with these endeavors.

The Inspire the Future scholarship program has helped employee dependents earn a total of 205 scholarships since 2018. During that time, PGTI distributed nearly $382,500 to help students earn a degree.
