Şişecam Wins Two Awards at International ARC Competition

Şişecam took home two awards at the international Annual Report Competition (ARC) Awards, the company announced.

Şişecam, a manufacturer of glassware and a producer of glass packaging and flat glass, won a gold award in the Traditional Annual Report category and an honors award for its digital annual report in the Interactive Annual Report category.

Şişecam stated that it was the only company in its sector to receive awards for its 2021 annual report in both categories.

The ARC Awards bring together communication professionals and recognize excellence in annual reports. The award evaluations consider key criteria, such as the way the report communicates the organization’s story for that year, language content, creativity and design.

A wide range of participants submit applications for awards in the competition, including large corporations, medium-sized companies, government agencies, NGOs and annual report agencies. The ARC Awards honor enterprises and organizations that develop their annual reports with creativity and innovation and recognize their excellence internationally.

The 2021 competition evaluated reports submitted by 1,656 companies from 33 countries around the globe.
