Ironbridge Equity Partners Acquires Controlling Interest in Walker Glass

After 80 years in business, Montreal-based Walker Glass Co. announced it has entered a partnership with Ironbridge Equity Partners, which has acquired a controlling interest in its operations.

Ironbridge is a Toronto-based private equity firm that focuses on traditional industry businesses in the manufacturing, distribution, consumer products and services, along with business products and services spaces.

“Walker’s proven track record over the past 80 years has demonstrated the ability to consistently deliver growth through best-in-class product quality, top notch customer service, state of the art production, and an innovation-based culture,” says Pete Samson, managing partner at Ironbridge. “We look forward to working with management to support the company during its next chapter of growth.”

Walker Glass develops and manufactures acid etched glass substrates, premium quality mirrors and bird friendly glazing solutions. It primarily serves North American architectural glass fabricators.

“I am very excited about this partnership as it will enable Walker to realize its formidable growth objectives over the coming years,” says Walker Glass’ president Lee Harrison.
