Clover Architectural Products has acquired American Custom Metal Corp., a Chicago-based architectural metal fabricator. American Custom specializes in high-end architectural metals, custom convection covers, aluminum linear bar grilles, and more.

With the acquisition, American Custom will now be known as American Custom Fabrication and will be a separate company from Clover.

“We are thrilled to be able to welcome American Custom to the Clover family,” says Tom O’Malley, a partner at Clover. “Bill Anicich and his team have produced amazing work over the years, and we are excited to announce Bill is staying on board. His reputation is phenomenal and his continued presence with the company will help our clients feel comfortable that things will remain the same.”

The acquisition allows Clover to expand and evolve its business offerings. Clover says that the move enables it to potentially expand into cladded doors and frames as well as grow its sales footprint for convection covers and grilles, among others.
