Impact Security Names Jill Read as National Sales Director

Impact Security has appointed Jill Read as national sales director. The manufacturer of forced-entry, bullet resistant and specialty retrofit glazing products says that Read brings more than a decade of experience in sales and marketing to the role.

Impact Security has appointed Jill Read as national sales director.

Throughout her career, Read has worked with large national retailers, restaurants, commercial contracts, architects and project managers. She has also worked alongside several school districts in both Texas and Tennessee to provide renovations and maintenance, along with glass and framing systems.

“We’re so excited that Jill has joined the team at Impact Security,” says president Mark Mineer. “Her unique perspective, as well as her many years of experience, will be a huge benefit to Impact Security as the company continues to grow.”

Impact Security says that in Read’s previous role at Binswanger Glass she had the opportunity to offer its flagship product, DefenseLite. This makes her “uniquely qualified” to lead the sales division of Impact Security.

“As a glass industry professional, I was skeptical about placing any product over storefront or curtainwall glass,” says Read. “After training with the DefenseLite team and fully understanding the meticulous engineering behind the DefenseLite products, I was excited to introduce it as an elite security solution to my national customers, especially retailers.
