Saint-Gobain North America Recognized for Efforts to Empower and Promote Women

Saint-Gobain North America announced that it won three Globees at the 2022 CEO World Awards for its work to attract, retain and empower women in the manufacturing industry.

The company was honored with two Gold Globees in the categories of Achievement in Women Empowerment and Achievement in Mentorship and Sponsorship of Women. The company also won a Silver Globee in Achievement in Developing and Promoting Women.

“We are honored to be recognized by the CEO World Awards for our work to recruit, retain and advance women in the manufacturing industry,” says Magda Dexter, senior vice president of human resources and communications for Saint-Gobain North America. “Our team will continue to focus on inspiring women to join our field, closing the opportunity gap and celebrating the impact of women who are working to help us meet our purpose of Making the World a Better Home.”

The annual CEO World Awards celebrate the achievements of leaders, executives and their management teams behind the year’s most outstanding initiatives. Organizations private or public, corporations, nonprofits, associations, vendors and government organizations worldwide are eligible to participate.

The CEO World Awards are the latest recognition Saint-Gobain North America has received in recent months. Additional honors include Forbes Magazine’s 2022 List of America’s Best Employers for Women, being named a Global Top Employer by the Top Employers Institute and being named to Yello and WayUp’s list of Top 100 Internship Programs of 2022.
