Saint-Gobain has been named one of the world’s best employers by the Top Employers Institute, a global certifier recognizing excellence in employee conditions. The recognition marks the company’s eighth consecutive year of certification as a global top employer. It joins 15 global companies to be recognized for outstanding human resources policies and practices worldwide.

“It is a testament to the constant efforts of our teams, particularly in human resources, to continue to make progress and achieve a score of 90% of Saint-Gobain’s employees who say they are proud of working for the company,” says Claire Pedini, senior vice president of human resources and corporate social responsibility. “This achievement results from a successful cultural transformation based on trust, collaboration and empowerment.”
The Top Employers Institute program certifies organizations based on the participation and results of its human resources best practices survey. The survey covers six human resources domains consisting of 20 topics.
Officials from Saint-Gobain state that of the 20 criteria analyzed, the company improved in 15 categories, specifically in sustainability, diversity and inclusion, digital human resources, well-being and talent acquisition.
“This new ‘Top Employer Global’ certification rewards all the actions and commitments implemented by Saint-Gobain worldwide to be a great place to work, where everyone’s talent is recognized and teams are committed,” says Pedini. “It is proof that we are contributing daily, as a responsible employer, to building a more sustainable and inclusive world, in line with our purpose ‘Making the world a better home’ and our strategic plan ‘Grow & Impact.’”
