Vitro Renames Three Solarban Glass Products

Vitro Architectural Glass is renaming three Solarban® solar control, low-E glass products.

Vitro Architectural Glass is renaming three Solarban® solar control, low-E glass products.

The renamed products include:

• Solarban 67 will be renamed Solarban R67. The addition of the “R” places the product into a “group of subtle reflective glasses.”
• Solarban z50 will be renamed Solarban 60 on Optiblue glass to reflect the product’s composition.
• Solarban z75 will be renamed Solarban 70 on Optiblue glass.

Emily Losego, Vitro’s director of commercial segment innovation, explains that by changing the product names to reflect their aesthetic attributes and physical composition better, “we believe it will be easier for architects, fabricators and others who work with architectural glass to evaluate and select the best product for their projects.”
