Brin Glass Co. has earned the North American Contractor Certification (NACC). The Minnesota-based glazing contractor is the 59th overall to earn the credential and the second in Minnesota.
NACC is an ANSI-accredited third-party certification that recognizes architectural glass and metal subcontractors who adhere to best practices for glazing quality, construction safety and business operations.
“At Brin, we understand that quality craftsmanship and safety are paramount to our clients,” says Ryan Torgerson, executive vice president. “We are proud to have earned this certification and to offer our clients the confidence of knowing that they are getting best-in-class products and service.”
Over four months, the management team in charge of contract glazing at Brin, including Patrick Lawrence, Spencer Schnacky, Jason Weld and Jeff Criswell, collaborated with NACC administrators. Their efforts involved evaluations, standardized written materials and a quality management system. This system is mandatory for all certified contractors. To ensure that Brin’s business and glazing procedures meet NACC’s exacting standards, company officials say it will undergo annual reevaluations as part of its certification requirements.
“By committing to certification, Brin joins other glazing subcontractors actively working to strengthen and improve construction quality,” says Jeff Dalaba, NACC program administrator. “NACC gives peace of mind to building owners, architects, construction managers and insurers. Hiring a credentialed glazing subcontractor reduces stakeholder risk by providing verified evidence of adherence to the highest standards and best practices.”
