Magid Glove & Safety, a distributor and manufacturer of personal protective equipment, announced that it was named to the Top Workplaces USA list for the second consecutive year.
The Top Workplaces USA award recognizes national companies that aim to improve the work environment by prioritizing a people-focused culture and empowering employees. The award is solely based on the results of an employee engagement survey.
Magid has a global workforce of over 1,000 employees and provides amenities such as walking paths, game courts, a discounted café and a balanced work-life policy with a hybrid schedule of three office days and two remote days per week.
“We strive to create a people-first culture at Magid where our team members feel like they can be themselves, take time to have fun and know that the work they do makes a difference,” says vice president of people Jen Almodovar. “We are honored to be named a USA Top Workplace for the second consecutive year because this award emphasizes the strong employee culture our team continues to support and build together.”
Third-party technology partner Energage LLC administers the anonymous employee engagement survey. The survey consists of 24 base statements that capture anonymous responses in four culture imperatives, including company alignment, connection, coaching, performance, engagement, leadership, and more.
