SuperClear® 45-HS and SuperClear® 45-HS-LI are the first and only USA-made, non-wired, tint-free, monolithic, fire-protective glazing products for all 45-minute doors, sidelites, transoms and openings.  Listed and labeled by both UL and Intertek, SuperClear® 45-HS and SuperClear® 45-HS-LI are available in large sizes and meet NFPA 252/257 and UL 9/10C with hose stream and CPSC Cat. II Impact Safety without the need for films or laminates.  It is proudly USA-made and available with a lifetime warranty.

“When we first introduced SuperClear® 45-HS and SuperClear® 45-HS-LI to the US market in January 2019, we knew it would be a game changer,” says William O’Keeffe, president and CEO. “The fire protective glazing market typically rated 45 minutes and under, was severely underserved.  Wire glass was proven unsafe while ceramics were tinted and had to be filmed or laminated to pass safety ratings, adding to its already expensive price.”

That’s what prompted O’Keeffe to develop and bring to market an alternative fire-protective glazing product that outperformed wire glass and ceramic, both imported from overseas, at an affordable price.  “SuperClear® 45-HS and SuperClear® 45-HS-LI are the perfect replacement for unsafe wire glass or expensive, tinted filmed and laminated ceramics.  No other monolithic, 45-minute glazing product provides superior optical clarity and durability at a much better value,” adds O’Keeffe.

In addition, SuperClear® 45-HS and SuperClear® 45-HS-LI carry high acoustical ratings and can be customized to protect against bullets, forced entry, blast, hurricane, and more.  Decorative, bird-friendly and energy-efficient make-ups are also available.  SuperClear® 45-HS and SuperClear® 45-HS-LI have approved glazing components in NFRC’s CMAST database.
