The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) has recognized NSG Group as a “Supplier Engagement Leader” for the second consecutive year. The CDP is a non-profit charity that runs the global disclosure system for investors, companies, cities, states and regions to manage their environmental impacts on climate change.
CDP’s supplier engagement rating assesses a company’s supply chain commitment to climate change issues. It also promotes collaboration among companies throughout the supply chain. Companies’ efforts are scored based on their responses to questions in the four areas of CDP’s climate change questionnaire (governance, targets, value chain (scope 3) and value chain engagement) and their assessment of the climate change questionnaire as a whole.
In this year’s survey, 653 companies worldwide were selected as the supplier engagement leader, including 131 companies in Japan.
