TODAY’S BLOG: Are You Ready? Chatbots Look to Increase Efficiency, Productivity

The reception of ChatGPT depends on whom you ask. For students caught between a rock and a hard place, the chatbot has been a godsend for easing the pain of writing papers; for teachers and other institutional figures, ChatGPT has raised worries about cheating and dishonesty.

OpenAI’s computer program doesn’t aim to complicate things. Its goal is to engage in human-like conversations with users.

However, OpenAI’s computer program doesn’t aim to complicate things. Its goal is to engage in human-like conversations with users. The program uses natural language processing and machine learning to understand queries better and provide more informative responses.

You might ask: How does this benefit my glass or glazing business?

Well, you might be surprised to find that ChatGPT can be used to smooth out wrinkles and increase efficiency. The program has many business application benefits, including:

  • Idea generation;
  • Compiling research;
  • Writing computer code;
  • Providing customized instructions;
  • Streamlining and enhancing processes using automation;
  • Smoothing out the customer onboarding process;
  • Increasing customer engagement; and
  • Rapid website updates, among others.

ChatGPT is not just a tool for writing generic term papers. It’s an express lane on a busy highway. Glass and glazing companies can use this technology to increase productivity and streamline operations.

The technology isn’t new, however. Ubisend, an AI-driven building company, published a report in 2018, titled Chatbot Statistics Cheatsheet, which features the benefits of businesses using chatbots to save money and increase automation. According to Opus Research, the report emphasizes “how chatbots are not replacing humans but rather allow humans to focus on what they do best. This, in turn, enables AI to help businesses make better decisions faster, improve customer service and achieve gains in customer loyalty and revenue.”

The report found that 35% of consumers want to see more companies using chatbots and 34% of executives say the time they freed up using chatbots allows them to focus on deep thinking and creating.

Whether you enjoy shuffling papers or writing longhand, the time will come when the turn to automation becomes necessary for the survival of your business. That time might have already arrived.
